When I started in the business there were no such technologies as Bluetooth, DSL, broadband, IPOD or even AOL. The world of technology has really evolved since I had my first computer. The idea of CarbinTech actually started January 9th 2003 from a hospital bed in Health South Rehab Center in Charlottesville, VA. Just three days after a severe car accident which I was diagnosed with a T7 / T8 spinal-cord injury and diagnosed as a paraplegic from the waist down.

I am lucky to still be on God’s beautiful green earth and love the fact that I can contribute to the growth and success of other people’s livelyhoods. The most exciting quotes for me to hear from my clients are, "look how far we have come!" and, "I never thought this was possible!" Business and life are about relationships and my goal with every client is seek to understand their problems and concerns first, then to be understood. Technology and business processes take time and the hard part is to convey and implement these visions. The process is just as important as the product.
